Commentary on America’s dropout crisis and education reform written by editorialist RiShawn Biddle. This is an expansion of his commentary on education that began four years ago for the Indianapolis Star with Left Behind, a series of editorials he co-wrote detailing Indiana’s — and the nation’s — dropout crisis. Since then, Biddle has expanded his coverage to include the underlying causes of dropouts, including chronic truancy and the schlerosis of leadership within the nations primary- and secondary-public education system.
