I volunteer for an online mentor and support program that also would help the drop out problem decline.

The continous push for job related education is sad to me, I think education is about joy in learning, while it is nice to use one's education for employment, I feel the joy of reading, and learning, and discussing or debating history and outcome is much more the focus that makes anyone want to learn, learn more, and be better at learning.

I work for Olympic Behavior labs and we have a computer program that would stop the dropout problem in any school district. It would track and monitor 24/7 all students starting in elementary school.
We have pilot programs in 3 states, Alaska, South Carolina and Mississippi. It is working for them.
For more information call me at 360-808-0063
